What we do
Following a survey of the parish premises in 2015, it became clear that some extensive work was needed including replacement of the church roof. The Fundraising Group was set up as a direct response to this. A separate Building Fund was also set up.
The Fund Raising Group hosts or supports a number of fund raising initiatives throughout the year. Fundraising initiatives include, cream-teas, concerts, fairs, lunches, dinners, etc. all Proceeds raised from the various fund raising events are put towards the Building Fund.
You can make contributions and donations when events are being hosted - we are always in need of a wide range of items – keep an eye on the newsletter for calls for contributions.
You can offer to help on the days we hold events - large events like fairs always need people to help with setting up or running of stalls, smaller events also need extra support to cover refreshments etc.
You can offer to plan and organise an event and we shall work with you giving you any additional support that you may need.
You can volunteer to join the fund raising group.
We are always looking for fundraising ideas so please do let us know if you have any.
