Eucharistic Ministers are parishioners invited by the Parish Priest to undertake this ministry.

A course of training is followed, usually each autumn, prior to commissioning by the Bishop.

​

There are 50-60 Eucharistic Ministers in this Parish at present.

​

Their duties are to help with the distribution of Communion at Mass, to lead Eucharistic Services and to take Communion to the sick or housebound when needed.
